“Dundle Hill has been one of our favourite weekends away. The website and communication to book was exceptional, making for an easy process to jump in the car and go. The hike into the cabin covered both classic New Zealand farmland and some beautiful native bush, making for a decent bit of cardio on a hot day. We couldn’t believe how lucky we were once we got there and had the place to ourselves; beautiful views, fire place, games and plenty of space to relax in different nooks. The facilities were amazing, clean and the place was incredibly cosy and comfortable. All we did was relax, shoot photos and enjoy some peace and quiet. Will be going back annually and sharing with friends.”

"I have long wanted to do this hike, and finally got a team together aged 9 - 81 years old. A Some were not particularly fit, and an extremely hot day did make the final climb up a bit of a challenge, but easily achieved in the 3 hours. From the photos, I did have a fairly high expectation of the hut, but it was much better than expected. A superb location for small or large group of friends and I could also see it being quite a special place for a couple to escape to mid week which would increase the chances of having the place to yourself. It would be a great place to take a corporate team for team building. Highlights being - View from the deck, lounge area, pillows with clean pillow slips, basic supplies provided (salt, pepper, oil, tea coffee), ice carried up in a flask for our Gin & Tonic. “Hi Alice, Having the chance to stay in your Cabin for a night, along with the walk there and back, was one of the best experiences I have had since being in New Zealand. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was a second (more forgiving) route back down, it gave me the chance to see more of your gorgeous land, and be scared by many cows running at me ha! I also met Chris, Boss and the two farm dogs of whom I cannot remember their names, on my way back down. Thank you for allowing me to stay in your beautiful Cabin! Jason Lake
